Azure Ventures was founded by Greg Chiappini and Gabbi Richardson, entrepreneurs and investors with deep roots in the maritime industry.

Gabbi and Greg first crossed paths at a startup launch party in London. Greg had just exited a career in banking, and Gabbi had recently taken the leap to go full-time with her side project: Yachting Ventures, now the world's leading growth platform for leisure marine startups.

A year later, Gabbi pitched Greg the idea of launching a marine innovation fund to support the most promising founders in the sector. The answer was an immediate yes.

That idea became Azure Ventures, a broader thesis that now spans the maritime sector from coastal infrastructure innovation to marine AI startups.
